This policy explains what NickPUBG (nickpubg.com) collects when you use the site, why, how long it is kept and how to ask for it to be removed. It describes how the site actually works today for BGMI and PUBG Mobile players. If that changes, this page and the date above will change too.

The name generator
When you press Generate, the name you typed is sent to the nickpubg.com server so it can build the styled versions. The server then:
- registers the name with the site’s name-data service, together with your IP address, so the same name can be looked up again and linked to community nicknames;
- adds one to a daily counter for that name (the name and a count, no IP address). These counters power the “Trending” section and are deleted after 35 days;
- keeps a short-lived, one-way hash of your IP address plus the name for 24 hours, so repeated clicks by one visitor are counted once;
- groups names into weekly totals (name, number of visitors, number of builds, no IP address) that the site’s operators use to decide which guides to write next.
Please do not type personal details such as your phone number or full real name into the generator.
Community nicknames, copies and likes
If you add a nickname with Share your own nickname, copy a generated nickname, or like a nickname, the nickname, the name it belongs to and your IP address are stored by the site’s name-data service. Shared nicknames appear publicly with their date and like count. Your IP address is never shown on the site. It is kept to limit spam and abuse. Daily copy and like counters (no IP address) are deleted after 35 days.
Favourites
Names you save with the heart button are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are not sent to us.
Cookies
NickPUBG does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and content delivery network may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example to block automated attacks. You can block cookies in your browser and the tool will still work.
Who else handles data
- Hosting and delivery: the site is served through a content delivery network that processes IP addresses to deliver pages and stop attacks.
- Name-data service: the service operated for NickPUBG that stores names and community nicknames as described above.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Children
NickPUBG is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Game age rules are set by each game’s publisher. If you believe a child has shared personal details in a nickname, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the GDPR, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. We do not have accounts, so we can only find data by the exact nickname or name and roughly when it was used. Email [email protected] with those details. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Changes
